Yet another great weekend at Eagle and Kiona. We had a nice mixed force of IEQF and NWSS personal show up for combat. Combat took place at Kiona in 10-15 mph winds. Combat claimed a couple of victims, I beleive Kelly Johnson left with the largest Purple Heart in the shape of a baseball on his leg. We had 20 pilots show for combat and others just to fly. Paul Susbauer won one of the four $50 cash prizes. Needless to say, but a good time was had by all. On sunday the winds changed to SW and Eagle started pumping! The morning started slow with 5 mph, but by the time we left it was hard to stand. So, everything from HLG's to extremely fast racers were chuck off. Yeeee Hawwww.

Electric and sailplane R/C pilots will benefit from the experience of the pilots that are currently members. Collectively the members have a lot of R/C gear and planes some of which is always for sale. We have 1 (maybe 2) club fields that members can utilize for flying along with the gear needed to hold Thermal Duration Contests. The club sponsors and holds 2 established TD contests each year with a 3rd contest planned to held this year.
