Introduction

Flying electrics big and small, F3J competition, designing and manufacturing R/C stuff. Master builder and crash repairman. I'd like to do more aerotow in the future... Thats' some fun stuff right there....

What do you spend most of your time flying? (hand launch, sailplanes, park flyers, jets, helis, etc...)

Park flyer's and sailplanes. I'm always designing and building something big and cool... but funds keep me in the smaller stuff for the moment.

How would you rate your flying skills (beginer, novice, intermediate, expert, hotshot, etc..)?

Hot shot... and I usually end up crashing right after you hear the words "Watch this guys" but that's cool... cause it's made me into a pretty good builder! (can you tell I'm and optimist?)

Any special talents?

Designing, 2D/3D CAD drafting, CNC machining, and prototype building. I've been consulting and designing for some of the industries leading manufacturers (getting paid for it is another matter, but I digress...) I love seeing my own ideas fly.

List some planes or Helis from your "Hangar"

Stork, Thermik XL, Brio 10, E-Flight Extra 260, little prop jets, Hyperion SU-31, a bunch of other half built planes.

How long have you been flying R/C

Since I was 7. That makes it 21 years. Started with gliders and a Cox/Sanwa 2 ch radio. First plane was a 100" glider called a Nomad. re-soldered some things after getting it cheap at a garage sale. Threw it off a hill and haven't looked back since.

Additional Information

"1 Wife, 3 kids, 2 dogs. I am probably into R/C airplanes a little too hardcore... but that's just the way I am. All or nothing. My motto is ---If its worth doing, then its worth doing right---"
