DLG contest #2 is in the books.

Weather was MUCH improved over our 1st contest. We had 6 pilots flying the days tasks. One of the rounds include a bonus for catching your model. There were some impressive catches which made it almost as fun to watch as it was to fly. Conditions were great but challenging for all. Long lift cycles were followed by shorter cycles of pretty bad sink. Steve gave us all laugh as he practically got on his knees begging not to start one of the rounds until the sink moved through ok maybe not on his knees but...
Pop's brought the new boom box used for the round countdown. Volume is much improved compared to what we used for the 1st contest. Problem was we forgot the disk. John B was to the rescue and boy does he have a voice.
